UNESCO Outlines Best Practices of Island and Coastal Biosphere Reserves [viewed]

mab-unesco22 May 2013: The Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and partners have released a book, titled 'Best Practices of Island and Coastal Biosphere Reserves,' which compiles the presentations of the Island Biosphere Reserves that attended the 2nd meeting of the World Network of Island and Coastal Biosphere Reserves: Sustainable Development and Climate Change, held in Jeju, Republic of Korea, in September 2012.

Event: Latin American Forum on Climate Change Adaptation [viewed]

The Latin American Forum on Climate Change Adaptation is organized by the Center for Sustainability Studies (GVces) of the Business Administration School of Getúlio Vargas Foundation in Brazil. Organized in cooperation with the UNFCCC Secretariat, the meeting will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, on 26 June 2013 and will focus on the engagement of the private sector in adapting to climate change.

Adaptation Fund Calls for Comments on Project Proposals [viewed]

The project concepts and proposals will be considered at the 21st meeting of the Adaptation Fund Board (AFB) to be held in Bonn, Germany, from 1-4 July 2013.
