UNEP-Risoe Launches Technology Transfer Publication Series [viewed]

29 June 2011: The UN Environment Programme (UNEP)-Risoe Centre has announced the launch of a new publication series titled "Technology Transfer Perspectives," which aims to stimulate debate and information sharing on technology transfer among academics, experts, policy makers, practitioners and other stakeholders, and will include mitigation and adaptation-side approaches.

Event: Second Informal Informal Consultations on the UNCSD Outcome Document [viewed]

This event was originally scheduled as the third of three "informal informal" consultations to negotiate the draft Outcome Document. The decision taken by the Bureau on 22 December 2011 canceled the February consultations, rendering this meeting the second informal informal consultation. The Bureau subsequently decided to schedule this event for two weeks, from 23 April-4 May.

Based on the decision taken at the UNCSD Bureau meeting on 22 December 2011, this meeting will be the first "informal informal" consultation to negotiate the draft Outcome Document. This meeting will be followed by the Third Intersessional Meeting, which will take place from 26-27 March.

Event: Initial Discussions on Zero Draft of UNCSD Outcome Document [viewed]

The initial discussions on the "zero draft" of the Outcome Document for the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) will take place from 25-27 January 2012, based on a decision taken by the UNCSD Bureau at its meeting on 22 December 2011. The zero draft will be based on a compilation of the input received by the UNCSD Secretariat from member States and other stakeholders by 1 November 2011.

IDB Supports Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Projects in Colombia [viewed]
