Participants discussed development goals, global and regional governance, the implications from a regional perspective of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20), and the follow-up to the development agenda beyond 2015, with the aim of informing ongoing global processes.

27 February 2013: The UNFCCC Secretariat has reported that the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) has now registered over 100 CDM Programmes of Activities (PoAs), achieving a new milestone. Under the CDM PoA, it is possible to have an unlimited number of similar project activities registered under a single programme umbrella.
